The Boyd County Medical Society welcomes all members of the Society to this Website for keeping up with current events in the Boyd County Medical Society, the Kentucky Medical Association, and the American Medical Association. We also invite the general public to visit our website often to stay informed on important medical issues facing our patients and physicians. Our medical society has benefitted greatly by the leadership of our former President Dr. Jack Borders for the past three years. We appreciate his contributions and guidance. While the recent elections have held our attention we must now focus on the years ahead with a concentrated effort to encourage more support for many important medical issues that face our community and entire country. With the election of Dr. Ernie Fletcher as Governor of Kentucky we have medical expertise in the position to help solve problems. The Boyd County Medical Society will play an important role in guiding the ongoing efforts of our local physicians to help serve our patients with the best medical care possible. We are looking forward to working with the Boyd County Medical Alliance as partners in our efforts.
